This is the homepage for the Ferenc family - Ignacy, Zofia, Ryszard, Ala and Bogdan.
Ignacy Ferenc was the husband of Zofia Kaczynska.
Zofia is Lucyna's older sister. Married to Ignacy Ferenc, and mother to Ryzard, Ala and Bogdan, she was also looking after her mother Franciszka when WWII broke out.
Ryzard Ferenc was the son of Ignacy and Zofia Kaczynska. He was caught stealing while the family was in the USSR and imprisoned. His whereabouts are unknown.
Alicja was the second eldest child of Zofia and Ignacy Ferenc. It is thanks to Alicja that we know as much of this story as we do.
Bogdan was the son of Zofia and Ignacy Ferenc. He was just 6 when the family was deported in the dead of night.
